A five-year-old boy has died after being pulled from a river in Bridgend, Wales, with police investigating his death.
South Wales Police were called at 5.45am today to reports of a missing child in the Sarn area.
Officers attended the scene and found the body of the child in the Ogmore River near Pandy Park.
The boy was taken to Princess of Wales Hospital where it was confirmed that the child had passed away, police have said.
The child’s family is now being supported by specially trained officers, while police carry out an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
