HEARTRENDING tributes have been paid to a Scottish tourist who passed away after being crushed by an upturned quad bike on a Greek island.
The teenager, identified on the island as Ryan Bennet, 19, was involved in the tragic collision in the early hours of Friday morning in Zakynthos.
Emergency services hurried to the scene, and he was swiftly transported to Zakynthos Hospital in an ambulance.
It is believed that the vehicle deviated from its path and toppled over, causing fatal injuries to the teenager. A 19-year-old passenger was also harmed in the incident and sustained minor injuries.
Tributes have now flooded in for Ryan, from Alexandria, Dunbartonshire, with family and friends expressing their condolences on social media.
