Heartbroken family pay tribute after woman killed in horror accident

A 25-YEAR-OLD woman has been killed in a horror crash after her car veered off the road and smashed into a tree.

The ambulance and fire services rushed to the scene on the A167 in County Durham at around 3am this morning – but Natalie Marshall couldn’t be saved.

The young casualty, from Bishop Auckland, was driving the Mercedes C Class when it swerved and crashed, although she wasn’t alone in the car.

A man in his 20s was with her in the vehicle – he was rushed to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough with serious injuries where he remains.

Police investigating the scene are urging witnesses to come forward who might have seen the collision or have dashcam footage of the vehicle beforehand.

Tributes in Natalie’s memory have been flooding social media from heartbroken friends and family.

One pal posted on Facebook: “Thank you so much for being you because there certainly won’t ever be another Natalie Elizabeth Marshall to grace our lives.

“You brought so much love, laughter, fun and kindness not only in to our lives but to anyone that met you!”

Others called Natalie an “angel” and “one in a million”.

From photos shared on her social media, Natalie seemed to love spending time with her friends, going for drinks and getting glammed up.

Her family issued a heartbreaking statement about losing her so soon.

It read: “Natalie was a very well-loved daughter, sister, auntie, and friend.

“We can’t put into words how we all feel about the loss of the biggest and strongest personality we knew.

“Natalie would light up the room as soon as she walked in, she was the most hard working and selfless young woman.

“We are well and truly heartbroken by this tragedy. I know for sure she has a place in many people’s hearts.”
