The legendary actress Jean Boht has sadly passed away at the age of 91 after a battle with dementia, just weeks following her husband’s demise.

Jean Boht gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Nellie ‘Ma’ Boswell in the popular 80s sitcom “Bread,” a role she held from 1986 to 1991. The show amassed a staggering 21 million viewers, depicting the life of Nellie and her children after their father, Freddie, abandons them.
