Christine Hamilton, who appeared on the inaugural series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, has recounted her ordeal of going to hospital after her knee ‘popped out’.
Sharing updates on social media, the television personality posted a photograph of her legs, with her right knee appearing greatly swollen, as she wrote: “Methinks my right knee is attempting to convey something awry.”
The 73-year-old informed her followers that she ended up in Accident and Emergency (A&E) after dislocating her joint, clarifying that she had been “engaging in unremarkable activities before you inquire.”
“I acquired a new knee last June, and something has ‘popped out’. I am uncertain about the subsequent steps, but I will be immobilized for some time, regardless. It is tremendously bothersome (and terribly agonizing), to put it mildly,” she declared.
Adding insult to injury, Christine disclosed that it also happened to be her 40th wedding anniversary with her spouse, former Conservative MP Neil Hamilton, on the very day she was admitted to the hospital.
