Major incident declared after crash involving 52-seater bus in Wales

A “major incident” has been declared following a collision involving a 52-seater bus.

Firefighters are currently working to extricate a driver who is “severely trapped” after the accident on the Cleddau Bridge in Pembrokeshire, West Wales, which also involved a car.

Many of the bus passengers are reported to have various injuries, according to the local fire service.

The Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the incident at 2.19 pm.

Five fire crews were dispatched from Pembroke Dock, Milford Haven, Haverfordwest, Tenby, and Narberth.

The situation is ongoing, and emergency services will provide further information when it becomes available.
