Woman found dead a week after crashing e-scooter

A woman was discovered deceased in a property in Aberdeen a week after being involved in an e-scooter crash.

Emergency crews responded to Mastrick Close in the city at approximately 2:20 pm on Monday, November 27. Inside the home, a 43-year-old woman was found dead.

Following a post-mortem examination, the death is currently being treated as unexplained. It is known that the woman was involved in a one-vehicle road collision while riding her black e-scooter on Monday, November 20, around 5:20 pm on Whitemyres Avenue, Aberdeen. It remains unclear whether the collision or any injuries sustained contributed to her death.

Authorities are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
