A 15-year-old girl has lost her life after a car collided with her near a school in Shropshire.
The fatal crash occurred in close proximity to Thomas Telford School, which is attended by approximately 1,500 students.
When paramedics arrived at around 5:15 pm last night, they found the girl with life-threatening injuries.
She was swiftly transported to Birmingham Children’s Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the car sustained no injuries, and the police have not made any arrests, as reported. Authorities closed the junction of the B502 and Old Park Roundabout in Dawley, where the incident occurred, for several hours.
