Man, 18, found dead at house as boy, 17 arrested for ‘murder’

A MURDER enquiry is currently underway as an 18-year-old was discovered deceased after an “altercation” at a property.

Local residents report having witnessed a group fleeing the house in Bodmin, Cornwall, in the early hours of Sunday following the incident.

An 18-year-old man, who suffered severe injuries at the Wallace Road residence, was transported by car to Bodmin hospital.

However, despite the best efforts of those present, he passed away in the hospital’s car park.

Formal identification is still pending, but his next of kin have been informed, as stated by Devon and Cornwall police.
