PANDEMONIUM erupted on a flight from Malta to Stansted as passengers were compelled to intervene between two brawling individuals.
The two Ryanair passengers engaged in a dispute over seating arrangements, as one adamantly refused to allow the other to pass through the aisle.
An eyewitness recounted the incident: “The British gentleman obstructed the American man from reaching his window seat, leading to an exchange of words and profanities, which ultimately escalated into a scuffle.
“The flight encountered a delay of two hours, causing frustration among everyone on board.” The men can be observed throwing punches at each other while startled passengers observe the scene, before stepping in to mediate. Audible complaints from passengers could be heard, lamenting, “We will never make it back home.”
Staff members were also compelled to intervene and separate the two passengers in order to quell the violence.
