Two royals who made comments about Archie’s skin colour revealed

The two royals who made comments about Archie’s skin colour have been revealed in letters between Meghan Markle and Prince Charles, according to Omid Scobie. Scobie’s book, “Endgame,” asserts that Meghan identified two members of the Royal Household who participated in the “conversations” in private letters she sent to the King.

In an interview with Good Morning ahead of the book’s release tomorrow, he said: “I do know who made the comments about Archie’s skin colour. The names were mentioned in letters between Meghan and Charles that were exchanged some time after the Oprah interview.

“We know from sources that Charles was horrified that that’s how Meghan felt. Those conversations were, and that he wanted to, sort of as a representative for the family, have that conversation with her. And it is why I personally think they have been able to move forward with some kind of line of communication afterwards.

“Though they may not see eye to eye on it.” Scobie’s book, “Endgame,” is set to be released on Tuesday and will look “inside” the royal family and the monarchy’s “fight for survival.” The 42-year-old, who previously co-authored a biography of the Sussexes, insisted in an interview with The Times that he was “not her (Meghan’s) friend.”

“I have mutual friends with (Meghan), and that definitely helps with getting information and breaking details,” he told the newspaper. Harry and Meghan are said in the book to be “in a good place.” The book makes a series of claims about the royals and asserts that the future of the royal family is “in a crisis,” as revealed in The Times article. “That crisis being a lack of interest from young people, an apathy, a growing republican movement, questions over whether the family still uphold the morals and values of the crown that the Queen did such a great job of,” Scobie said.
